PROJECT EVALUATION

Creative Strengths
My ability to improvise and to make up my own drum parts for various songs that i have
played this term and if I can't play a part of the song i will simplify the song but i can also
stay in time when I'm changing parts of these song.
Another strength of mine is i can play a various number of genres for example on the last
gig we played i had to play a various number of genres.

Professional Strengths
A professional strength of mine is resilience for example. I will drop a stick when i am
playing and I don't stop playing when I do and I also don't stop playing when i mess up for
example like missing a cymbal or messing up on a fill I don't let it bother me that much i
just keep playing.
Another strength of mine is my memory. for example for the gig we played I had to
memories 9 songs and I had 4 time to practice with one of the bands (the last band of the
night) It is also very helpful that I can play by ear therefore i can learn the drum parts of
songs by ear and memories them.
Areas for Development:
Creative Areas for Development
I think I need to work on the amount of effort i put into my coursework and be bothered
to do the coursework on time and put all my effort into the coursework. in the next
project I need to put the same amount of effort into my coursework as i do into my
practical.
I need to put more effort into making fills for songs. For example on my orignal with my
first band on i didnt do any fills in the song because i couldnt think of any that would fit
with the song.
Professional Areas for Development
Workload management. I need to work on not overworking myself
Another one of my professional flaws i need to focus on not swearing as much as i do.
What Worked Well:

What Went Well Creatively
I think something that went well creatively was my energy that i played on the drums.
throughout the gig. and in some bands i was the only person who had a lot of stage
presence.
I think another thing that went well creatively was. Nobody competed for volume or the
spotlight.
What Went Well Professionally
I wasn't stressed at all throughout the day i also wasn't anxious when we were prepping
before the gig.
I'm always on time to every lesson and i haven't yet been off since i started college.

What Did Not Work Well Creatively:
At the start of this project, we struggled on playing black or white. For example, we had an issue with playing the bridge, also the transition into the rap from the bridge as it was too fast for both our guitarists to play.
We sped up in black or white when we were performing on stage, so the lyrics sounded a
little bit rushed on stage.
What Did Not Work Well Professionally:
My band would become distracted a lot as when we are finished doing what we are
supposed to do we all either just sit there or start playing completely different songs.
My band had quite a lot of arguments over parts of the songs when we could play them,
and others couldn't so the people that could play the part of the song didn't want to
change it. but the people who couldn't play it wanted to change it.
