Creative Strengths I am very versatile in the fact I am open to new music, and I can play various genres and time signatures without an issue. And play assorted styles of music without an issue. For example, as a drummer the start of the songs relies on my count in at the start and I am particularly good at remembering the tempo and time signature of every song we play. Another creative strength of mine is that I know what my instrument should sound like, and I know where everything on the drum kit should be so I can play it comfortably, so at various points throughout this project. I have sat and tuned the drum kit till it sounds how I like the drums to sound.
Professional Strengths A professional strength of mine is that pressure and stress does not really affect me so at the gig for the end of this project a lot of people were getting stressed about what they were playing and if they would have sounded okay. Whereas I was not stressed at all. Another professional strength of mine is that I am always on time to every lesson and practical session. I am also in everyday as I am in both classes for this project some might see it as a little bit tricky for me to be on time to every lesson however, I manage it well.
Creative Areas for Development An area for development of mine is my dynamics as I am always a little bit too loud so sometimes, I will drown out other musicians on stage. So, I need to work more on my dynamics. Another area for development would be that if I cannot play a track properly, I will change it so I can play it so I need to get better at playing what is played on the track instead of changing it because I can play it. I need to get better on my confidence Aswell as if I think I can't play something it will put me off wanting to try and play it in case it sounds bad, when I can change something and it will sound good I need to stop doing that and play what is written out.
Professional Areas for Development I need to put more motivation in for my coursework, as I get stuck on what to write so I give up sometimes because I do not know what to write. Or how to word things properly. For example, some of my project diary's will have loads in and some will have very little writing in because I don't know what to say I don't know how to word what I want to say so I will give up and move on as I struggle with coursework anyway. I need to build up more resilience for if something doesn't go right so for example on the day of the gig the three was not a drum monitor so i couldn't really hear anything so i got quite frustrated because i rely on vocal ques for a lot of what i play in songs as a drummer i couldn't hear the vocals therefore. I had abit of a kick off because i thought it would have been more of an issue than it would have been. I also need to be more resilient with coping with people in my bands for example one of the singers in one of my bands, has been getting on my nerves recently. So, I have been quite frustrated with a lot of our practices as she has been trying to blame issues that she is making on everyone else and i know we are doing nothing wrong, but she has kept blaming everyone for things we arnt doing wrong.

What Went Well Creatively My band all have varied strengths. Which helped us with this performance for example the singers have different styles of singing they are better at so can each hit different notes; therefore, they were better suited at singing different songs in our set. One of our guitarists uis better at doing lead and one of the guitarists is better at doing Rythm. The keys player is very good at improvising parts to play so he made our set sound good. And I'm good at my ability to not let a dropped stick make me stop or make my loose the tempo of the song. Another creative strength of my group would be the changes between soongs they were not the fastest but considering we had to change effects ad on one song change guitars they we faster than i thought they would have been. Also going into songs they were very clean.
What Went Well Professionally We all get along and we all will hype each other up before and after a gig aswell as the other performers for example whenever a band was getting ready to go on to stage we would all say good luck to them when they came off and well done when tey came off and give them the loudest cheer after the end of a song when they were going inti another song. What Did What Did Not Work Well Creatively: My band had very conflicting views on the song choices so we didnt get the songs sorted right away My band has very conflicting music tastes so everyone had trublue picking the songs What Did Not Work Well Professionally: Some people in my band were off quite regularly therefore we were stuck doing stuff every now and again as we couldnt move on because we didnt have everyone there
